Sup Rumpai Laut / Seaplant Soup (Miyeokguk)




This is my first trial ^__^ based on resipi. (credit to Maangchi)


Bahan-bahan / Ingredients:

1 cup rumpai laut kering (seaplant)

16 cups air (water)

4 to 5 tbs sos ikan (fish sauce)

200 gram daging (beef) (*x letak pun dalam my sup..hehhe)

1 tbs bawang putih (kisar) (minced garlic)

Minyak bijan (sesame oil)


Cara-caranya / Directions:

1) Rendam 1 cup rumpai laut kering sekurang-kurangnyer 30 minit. Keringkan dan carik kecik-kecik. [Soak 1 cup of dried miyeok in a big bowl for at least 30 minutes. Drain and cut into bite sized pieces.]


2) Masukkan rumpai laut yang telah direndam (4 cup) ke dalam periuk dan masukkan 16 cups air. Didihkan dalam 20 minit dengan api yang besar. Tambahkan air jika terlampau pekat. [Put the soaked miyeok (about 4 cups’ worth) into a big pot and add 16 cups of water. Boil over high heat for 20 minutes. Add more water if the soup gets too thick.]


3) Potong daging kecil-kecil. Masukkan daging dan bawang putih ke dalam periuk dan didih lagi 20 minit hingga 25 minit dengan api sederhana. [Cut the beef brisket into bite size pieces. Add the beef and garlic to the pot and boil for another 20 to 25 minutes over medium heat.]


4) Masukkan sos ikan. Titikkan sedikit minyak bijan sebelum dihidangkan. [Add the fish sauce and drizzle a few drops of sesame oil on top before serving.]


5) Boleh dimakan begitu sahaja atau dengan nasi. [Serve with rice, if you have it. Put a few spoonfuls of rice (or the whole bowl) into the soup and eat.] ^^

  1. Waaaa sup rumpai lauttt...yummy...nk wat tp rumpai laut xdak..kalo derhaka sikit pada resepi aifa buley? hahhaha aifa buat lah bawak pi opis...nk rasaaaaa...peperoooo :)
